Didn't think it was supposed to be back on the road again ? Had a very heavy passenger side impact , bent the floor and roof , looks like somebody has repaired it ? …….UWF 317Y.

Im watching this car in ebay the hubby was thinking of buying it what happened to it   glad i know this info as it dont say in the listing

It might have been repaired properly ., if anybody is thinking about buying it get it checked first , …
…but it was a very heavy side impact that took out the door, the sill , the rear quarter ,   it's now got 34 bids  bumping up the price with about 4 days to go ???     UWF 317Y.  ,

Worst bit, can't warn others bidding on eBay :/ from pics you can't tell could be different story in person?

My friend enquired about it and got a reply:-

Hi There,
Car has never been in an accident as far as I know, its 30 yrs old now and does have a few scabs on the paintwork, but its certainly not rotten. No issues with the engine. The car didnt come with a service history when I brought it, its been a good runner. Your more than welcome to come and have a look at the car.

Tbf if it's been through a few owners then he generally might not know if it's been in an accident, not everyone hpi's their car

he might not know ,and it may have been repaired ok.   but would recommend whoever buys it gets it checked

If its been reshelled then won't be same plate! Unless its been rung.

Easiest thing is some one do a hpi check on it, £3.99 if a buyer fails to bother then it's buyer be ware

reshelling dosent mean a different plate.

Reshell unless new will be different plate, how can you use another shell and keep the old reg?

chance of a new shell are slim to none.
