well eventually sorted out the engine and sort of sorted the interior, its booked in for its mot tomorrow so wish her luck.

Just off for some last minute tinkering now. Need to wedge something into the seat runners to stop them wobbling, just in case I get some jobsworth tester and until I can get my new clip. Aside from that it should be all OK.

oh well no suprise it failed
on 8 things
but stupid things
2 different size tyres on front and back easy fix swap them – done
rear wheel bearings picking up tomorrow
2 fuel leaks 1 on fuel pipe in engine bay 1 on the fuel filler neck where it joins – done
nuts missing from 3 of the wheels lol didnt even notice 1 nut on each wheel ******* theives lol – done
only thing left to fix now is the wheel bearing 10 min job everything else fine

Another FAIL!
Not by much mind.
'Dirty' headlights (?!)
CO2 content too high by1.1%
Hope I can get the issues rectified soon. At least it only needs a partial re-test!

I spoke with the mechanic last night and he said that to pass the emissions test, I need to adjust an allen key in the ignition system. Any idea what he's talking about? I haven't had chance to look.

they just failed mine on number plates, it has standard size text and font although i do have the carbon fibre style lettering. apparently the law changed 6 weeks ago. got my new set at Halfords and she said they had the Law in saying the law had changed.
