Mk1 workshop / Haynes manuals
Has anyone ever came across one of these:
Car Parts & Accessories - VW GOLF WORKSHOP MANUAL was sold for R65.00 on 20 Mar at 18:00 by Zoar Antiques in Cape Town (ID:3300606)
If so, is it worth-while having?
Also, is there a noticable difference between a Vw workshop manual for a Mk1 and the appropriate haynes manual, which is better?
Any advice would be appreciated

I had a look on the haynes website but couldn't see a version with a brown cover. Found it on ebay however, so a copy should hopefully be winging its way to me right now….
thanks for your help. :y:

I may just hand her in to the local Vw 'speciallist' if it requires anything more complicated than a spark plug change!
Don't have the time these days to carry out any work thats too demanding.
Gone are the days of replacing wishbones, stub axles etc…. :tlc:

Try this, these are good
That's quite a comprehensive list of manuals etc, I presume I'd be after the Rabbit version?

Alternatively, have a look here. If you have a quick printer and plenty of paper you can print the manual out.

Hold on a minute…
Unfortunatley,
мой русский не столь же хорош, как это использует, чтобы быть!
and I couldn't see any refererence to an english translation

Look at the sections to the left of the screen (in Russian and English) Click on those and then select your car in the next screen. It will download a PDF file

Hi guys, looked everywhere, including the RU site but no success. I've got a '92 clipper. So Mk1 body and I believe a Mk2 engine? Can't find any manual to cover this car… any ideas?
cheers

THIS is by far the most comprehensive late cabriolet manual I've used.

but this looks like one I looked at before that stated specifically that it did not cover carb'd engines…? or was that a different manual?
If this comes recommended, I'll get it!
thanks (again)
