MK1 GTI Engineering Zender
Here's my dilema, I have had my A reg Heios Campaign for some years now and though modified with 16v Ronel Turbos etc and desent body resturation , It still looked like a well kept Campaign and turned heads.
Anyway to the sad bit…. On my way back from Stamford Hall show, It crashed and has now been classed as a Cat B write-off so can't be put back on road so I have seen a GTI Engineering Helios Campaign with full Zender.
Do I get one and restore it to its original condition as I am of the understanding these cars are extremely rare. Or do I use my salvagable bits, purchase the Zender car & turn it back to a Standard looking Campaign?
Your comments would be appreciated especially if you have a GTI Engineering car. :?

By the way if you find one……cherish it and keep it for ever…..know I would….don't modify it…..refresh it if need be….

I love that Zender kitted Gti. That is TRUE retro - none of this roofrack-retro nonsense ! More interesting than a std. Helios Gti IMO (and I've got a Helios Campaign….!)
Helios Blue is where metallic began…..just gotta love it

The blue one that was on pistonheads is owned by a guy i know,it would make someone an excellent period looking car if its what your into! How much was it up for on pistonheads by the way? I never saw it on there for sale!
If your mate ever wants to sell it, I would buy the car and pay to have it professionally restored…..
Ask him to drop me an email :-)
