mines just turned 105000, still runs like dream

mine went 111111 the other day, i was meant to be watching out for it but when i got to work it had ticked 111113

i went all the way to France in the black one and whilst driving through the Countryside, the car made 66666,

It got me thinking whats gonna go wrong on the way back, but it was absolutely fine and the car happily did the 370 mile round trip.

I think its funny actually on escorts and other fords when the mileage only goes up to 5 figures. Perhaps ford were always pessimistic that their models ould make 100000! :dontknow:

Got a funny feelin some has been knocked off it tho, nothing to do with the way it drives cos its in pretty mint nick, holeinmk1-tom said its one of the best examples of an untouched mk1 hes seen.

But anyway for 25year old I reckon its too low that milage, what you lot think?

well mine is on about 61000 and its 28 years old but has been sitting for some time

mines on 1750ooo and has done 25ooo between mots!!!
pulls like a train, never let me down, you guys have many yeara of happy motorin left!!!!

mines past 185000 few problems due to not being looked after by previous owner well enough, but works like a dream as far as i'm concerned  Passed it's mot with no problems at all.

i know its not a mk1 but close we had a mk2 diesel that did over 400k

i think it had 10 cambels and a fuel pump but nuffin majour, still see it burning about now

my mk1 has done 140,000 and still perrss

Is that all ??!  

Mines on 134K now…..

My mates old x reg gti had done 197K !! still would oust most things around town…
