hood tonneau cover problems
hiya
my cabby has been fitted with a mohair roof and the original black leather tonneau cover does not when the roof is down, its just too small, and ive noticed the roof hangs over the bootlid when down, is it suppose to do that :dontknow: i dont think it is, this is the first cabby ive seen like this, what could be the problem, :?

I expect the roof isnt folding correctly as its not sopposed to hang down at all.
Have a look at the hood section of Prowler's buyers guide…

There should be some loops that attach the outer skin, inner liner and the frame together. I guess they are either broken, not connected up or just not present on the aftermarket roof?
Cheers,
Ross

I've got exactly same problem, havent got round to looking at it yet though..
My tonneau cover seems to small and I'm sure there are poppers missing on the car, just behind the rear seat, mine also doesn't seem to fold properly at the back when down but its not really hanging down at all.
May have a look this weekend if I get time, and if its dry!

Ah…I see an update to the Buying Guide coming on to show the loops….I know I show a pic of how it's NOT supposed to look, would be an idea to show the cause as it's quite common. Thought I had a pic somewhere…..
I should also show the rear loops that hold the cover down at the back…..in fact, how the whole cover fits…..
In the meantime….try pushing the hood fold IN as the roof goes back…then try fitting the cover…
