Help pls - Mk1 cover for my car

Hi

This is a first for me so I am hoping some one can help me.

I need a winter cover for my Mk1 and had a quick search int he net and just found pretty standard ones - any suggestions of where I can get one or a good place for me to start looking?

Vics :dontknow:

I've moved your post to mk1 chat as it's a mk1 question.

I got an all weather breathable cover from Halfords… it's a small car cover and has been good for me… it's not tight fitting so be warned it may flap about but I love mine… was about £50.

Is it tight fitting mate as in tailor made for a mk1 golf?

yer its a good cover. made to fit mk1 with out wing mirrors so u got to put them in. its tightend on each corner of the car and 2 straps going unerneath the car. you have approx 3inch of the tyre and ally showing and exhaust tip on mine showing but im thinking about buying some plastic to fit along the bottom so those parts are protected too.

How much was it if you dont mind me asking?

It was around 130 pounds posted excluding VAT. Thought i'd pay that little more in the hope it will be completley waterproof and stop corrosion, not flap around in the wind, which it seems to be at the moment :)

The storm force is the best one. Seems to be doing well on mine with all the rain we are having here.
