Girls.......mk1golfs!!??

I'm new to this mk1 golf forum deal and as i an reading posts I look at the name and I am noticing alot of women's name. Are theses the names of your cars or the names of women who post messages and own mk1 golfs. Im not beeing sexist but do women like mk1 golfs, because all i know is my sister 23 hates mine and my girlfriend also hated him, but has come around now (good job, cus thats a relationship ender!!) but she has drove it and says she would never own one!!
Do the girls keep them stock or do the tune em and drive fast as well??
Just interested really? I have never seen a bird driving a mk1 golf but if i did oh dear lord!! That would be awesome  ops:  big respect!!

i going to veiw a mk1 next week and my girlfriend hates it she says, it growing slighty on her though.

I used to have a mk2 and my gf liked it. Then i got a mk1 and she thought it was 'cute' she doesnt like being in it at the moment as i need to upgrade my brakes and i dont have a radio/cd player.

She had a little drive in a car park once but she hated it

I'm glad we are in the same boat lol Since I slammed it on coilovers her decision has changed slightly but hey ho! Its got a massive sound system so lots of bass and he never fails to her to work on time even when she is running late, And in summer she and all her mates say it's very 'OC' when we cruise with the lid down I have no idea what 'OC' means but it sounds like a compliment lol

Unless it was a metophorical suggestion that the OC is an idilic picture of sea,sun,surf,pert bums in bikinis and hot bods, maybe but maybe it owuld mean

I drive a Sportline Cabby, and whenever I've picked a girl up the general reaction is "omg I love your car"

Infact I dropped this girl off at her mates the other day and her mate came up to me in the pub and said those exact words.

If anything, I think they're chick magnets haha..

In all fairnuss mine does get attention mainly cus its always polished and looks fancy and many grils have no idea what it is. I think my sister hates it because it has no air bags or anykind of safety features in general, but who cares I say i would rather die looking cool and in a car i love than survive and then die of imbarrasment in a fiat punto or a god damn saxo!!!

and the other guy urm luke had a 4x4 you dont see many soft tops in california trust me been there loads, the only people who drive them tend to be tourists, the locals prefer suvs and those toyota pruis things.

Pleanty of girls like Mk1 Golfs.  (including my ex who had six of the things!)

You just need to find the right kind of girls.  I know you can't dump your sister, but you can get shot of your g/f and find one that appreciats Golfs.  I don't know about you lot, but being with someone that hates "boxy old cars" is a total deal breaker for me.
