German road Trip - ENTRY NOW CLOSED

This is taking place on Sun Aug 26th for 4 days and retuning on the Wed 29th, so far we have prices of £69 rtn for a car +4 people. This is for MEMBERS only lists is below

Hotels are being looked into but until this closes at the end of Dec i cant secure any hotels until what kind of rooms and how many that are required, ie doubles, family or singles, so until numbers that are confirmed we  cant secure a firm price but…. they are coming out at £30-£35 per night, as said before when numbers are confirmed there will be a group set up for infomation and for you to have your say within.

The orginal thread has more info in it but like its been said is 10 pages long and takes a while to trawl through, we will also have tee-shirts, car plaques and a sticker for the road trip these will come out at around £15 per set extra Tee's will be £9 each.

Support vehicles with spares will be on hand to keep us all moving.

T & C's will be sorted when numbers are set again at the end of the month

Partners not yet inc just wanted to get numbers for ferry travel just now.

As a ball park price for this trip not inc fuel or food should be around £220~£250,

To work out your fuel the distance is 461 miles or 738 kms and will take around 7 hrs on the other side.

Dep from Ramsgate at 8am, so anyone wanting to travel to the port on the Sat and stay over will be at your expense and not inc in the trip prices.

There will be a meeting at the AGM for attendees to go through everything that has been decided ie convoy, support and breakdown and route also other issues that may have arose,

Just thought i'd add something…… the ferry prices have now dropped, we will be travelling with P&O from Dover with a dedicated lane just for the club so we stay all together and this will be for £58 and not £69 with DFDS.

Also the hotel arrangements will be in Hannover which is only an hours drive to wolfsburg this should also work out cheaper, plus it will give us another chance to convoy to wolfsburg and show off the cars.

I have rang the Autostat and the prices are as follows…………

For 15 euros will include the Factory tour, Time house museum and the VW museum.

The Turag off road adventure which lasts for 45 mins is 35 euros but will need to be booked in advance.

The Tigan off road driving adventure is 25 euros agian prior booking  needes to be made.

Anyone wishing to do either one of the above just pm me and i will add you to the list for this.

There will be a separate parking area reserved for us at the autostat with a small reduction in prices but i wont know this until closer to the date, but prices for parking is at 3 euros per day so what the reduction will be is anyones guess.

Hi, for those who still havent pm'd me with the details asked for above i need them asap please.

I must apologize for noticing this so late, coz after the AGM nothing was mention about this trip Germany and as there was not much on after the agm i have not paid much attention until this weeeknd lol

As i have now had a look and can see the list is pretty full im quite gutted i did not look earlier coz i would not want to miss this for the world would it be possible to place me on the reserves list??

The £58 is to secure the ferry. A lot of us are booking into the Dover A20 premier inn on the Saturday night as well.
