Flushed boot, boot solenoid advice.
Guys when i bought my mk1 the boot was flushed, but the only way to open it is to get in from inside the boot. Not ideal.
Anyone know of a decent boot popper i could fit? Was just hoping to wire it up to a hidden button somewhere.
Any links/pictures would be great.
Chris.

you could wire it up to the rear wiper stalk switch.

Not 100% sure but have a quick check through the upcoming MoT regulations which officially came in 1 Jan 2012, but will be applied from 31 March or thereabouts. I vaguely remember something about all doors needing to be able to be opened from outside.

is that a forward ruling? ie cars from a date need to have this feature, rather than owners having to undo such modifications?
