Exhaust Flange Clamps

Has anyone found an easy way to fit the spring clamps on the exhaust flange??

I've fitted them myself in the past but always found them difficult.

Fitted a new exhaust manifold today and I've been tearing my hair out fitting the spring clamps on the flange  
and believe it or not I managed to snap one!!

Some one please give me a quick fix  :mrgreen:

Use an exhaust clamp, but with the nuts on the inside of the clamp part, so its able to expand when the nuts are turned, not compress.

Hopefully rubjonny will see this and reply and be able to post the pic which shows it clearly. I have a pic somewhere but can't find it any more!
