Hi all, can anyone tell me if a G reg Audi 2.3cc coupe engine will fit straight into my mk1 golf without any problems and fit straight on to the mk1 gearbox. I just want to put it in connect it up and drive away. cheers

Not familiar with these, is it 5 cyl? in which case I would have thought too long apart from any other issues.

I,m not sure if its a 5 cylinder, I,ve just seen it on gumtree for sale for £275

it;s to big it's a in line 5 pistons longitudinal mount engine with CIS fuel injection, not worth the trouble to much head ache. go for 4 pistons

it'll fit in my santana or passat though. Is it turbo'd?

not sure if its turbo,d m8, its in Cardiff. looks in good nick for £275 too
