This was on Ebay a couple of years ago belonged to someone in the Rochester/Strood area I even put a bid on it :wink:

I thought it was as well, mind you 90% of all mk1's have probably seen Ebay at some point   …..the colour of this one made it stand out for me.

any idea what it was bid up to??

i recognise the style/car from somewhere i think it may be ex-mag featured in the 90's, have you checked to see whether Skeete Motorsport are still going. possible lead.

I reckon this could have been in Max Power about 10 years + ago. That name rings a bell but don't remember it from Golf or PVW mags

skeete closed down ages ago and all you get from google is some rally driver called something skeete.
