Does anyone know where I can get an alternator for Mk1 1.6d?

Hi,

i'm looking for a new/ refurbished alternator for Mk1 1.6d, I notice that GSF do them but you have to trade in your old one and I dont have an old one.

Any help much appreciated.

I have a trade contact at SAS. He gets me all my bits for my Mk1. Cables, clutch, breaks etc. I can ask him if you like? If you want to post your reg number and car details I can ask him. Failing that, PM me the details and I will see what I can do. Let me know.

Its not a trade account as such….more of a mate. I got a clutch under £40, clutch cable £8, front vented discs including pads for under £18. Got a battery the other day for an old boy near me. He's got an 04 plate MG ZR ( more fool him ). Got it for £30 whith a 12 month gurantee. Im always happy with the prices. i used to shop around but dont bother now. What you after? :dontknow:
