I think it depended on what VW had to hand at the time.
Last Rivages in blue cloth had a different interior than the Mauritis blue, the seats were a more grey diagonal weave and black carpets.

My suspision is when they were building these along with the Sportlines and the last of the Cabby's, they used on hand the parts they had.
Normally the Sportlines were fitted with the orange needles, that's not to say during production runs at various stages they ran out of white needled clocks and whilst waiting for more simply put orange ones in instead.
Wouldn't it be good to know someone who worked there to confirm, what happened?

Yes yours would be Mauritus blue interior and blue carpet.
