Bonnett Bra

Hi all, does anyone have a Mk1 Golf bonnett bra that I can BORROW? It doesn't matter what condition its in as long as its complete. I live in the Loughborough, Leics area. If anyone is local I am happy to collect and return it, or failing that I will cover postage for uk.

The general consensus is they do more harm than good, because they allow trapped dirt to accumulate and scratch the paintwork underneath.

I agree with Paul. I ran one on my car for a week and it caused more damage than it could have prevented! Your better off spot repairing stone chips than sticking a bra on.



Some of these bonnet bra's might be better than others but mine flapped up and down slapping against the bonnet at speed even though it was adjusted up properly.

Appreciate the feed back guys, but still need a pattern for one if any of you can help please?

Guys if anyone has had problems running a bonnet bra then you have been using them wrong.

Run one for over 2 years on my mk4 without any problems.

If any dirt or water is getting trapped under them then instructions aint been followed.

I used to take mine off every morning, clean the bonnet with quick detailer and refit it, happy days. Would take no more than 5 mins.

If you do not keep the bonnet clean then its obvious your going to get problems.
