ive had it for about 3 years now. its time to step it up a gear haha.

plans are 20vt full cage Motorsport shifter balls out carbon wings, bonnet, roof and boot

I'd be tempted to do the roof too, try not to make the carbon too obvious.
Most people will think the carbon area on the boot is a sticker then, though only those who really know what they are looking at will know the truth!

the problem is the step up from the body to the carbon skin. cba with that much filler!

i love carbon fibre. it is easy to get carried away though. i want to make loads of bits for my car but i want to keep it subtle too.

please excuse my ignorance but what is the swage?
is it the flat bit where the badges are?

i think you should spray all the boot exept the bit around the window so from a distance, it looks like the black sticker that came on the gti. If you know what i mean?

had a sunroof. no point fitting a roll cage if you got a sunroof you can fly out of, or things can fly in.

happier than a dog with 2 dongs right about now!
