A question I could not answer......can you?

I was asked by a fellow how many Mk1 golfs were still alive and registered in the UK. I really dont know. I would be interested to find out and how many soft tops there are as well.

propper mk1 golfs? less than 500 id say

lmao ive seen under ten tin tops in the last 8 yeast in my area lost count of the floppys hench why my tintops here to stay!

yep, I thought the same but then thought if your going to keep hold of 1 tinny it has to be a series 1 GTI!!

i no of 10 of hand just in the inverness area, all tin tops, theres a few cabby kicking about up here 2

i agree with lee however i would feel bad butchering a decint spec origenal car because they are getting rarer so im gonna keep my shed fae the crusers!
