MK1 Cabriolet - Rivage - Green - Lady Driver - Basingstoke / Reading

My father and I have seen you a few times, car is in superb condition and sat very nicely at 65mph on the M4 J10 last week.

Beautiful colour, never ever seen a Green Rivage…

It's the wife driving our Rivage to work in Basingstoke.

We've had several mk1s and mk2s (including 2 other Rivages, one Rallye and a couple of R32s). We've been without a vw for a while so great to have one back again!

Great car and I've always had a soft spot for that spec and colour.

Your wife must get hundreds of looks daily if she has to drive through the worlds capital for roundabouts.  

My Father now pasted had a really good explanation for why Basingstoke has so many roundabouts.
He said it was because the 'Site Forman' had a Fetisch for mugs of coffee and while studying the blue prints he would put his mug down on them.

Hence creating a new roundabout that needs to be built!  

Yeah well didn't we all believe what our dads said when aged 8 to 10 years old!
