Mk1 Required in London Area (Not GTI or Diesel)

Folks,

Just received the following request. If you are in the London area can you contact Diana direct!

We need a Mk1 Golf (1.1 or 1.3 preferred - No GTIs or Diesels) owner to spare a few hours making the sound of their Golf famous! It must be a standard Golf too, no modified exhausts or induction units please!

Please post a reply if you are able to help and have made contact with Diana. Always nice to help the media if we can.

I've arranged for us to have a copy of the sound for use on the site afterwards! 8)

BTW : The film is based on a Zoe Heller novel called Notes on a scandal - Judi Dench plays the Golf owning character, Cate Blanchett and Bill Nighy also star.

I wonder if you can help me.

I work in audio post production (and I own a Golf -
but not a Mk1 unfortunately) and a colleague of mine
needs to record the sound of a Mk 1 for a film sound
track - do you know of anyone who would be willing to
let us come and record theirs? preferably in or around
the London area and obviously at their convenience -
it would take 2 - 3 hours?  
There's only petrol money in it I'm afraid but we
could also give a cd copy of the sounds recorded which
might be used in a major feature film!!

It's a long shot I know but if anyone is willing we
would really appreciate it.

Give her a ring direct and see what you can arrange. I would have thought there would be some flexibility, depends on what sound gear they intend to use I would guess.
