What insurance companies do you recommend ?
Time for me to insure the cabby. Last year I had it insured with Tesco as a daily. This year I want it as a weekend car so gonna get classic. What companies should I try/avoid ? I'm 22 soon to be 23
The main ones I've thought of are the 3 advertised on the left, peter best and heritage
Any others I should call for a quote ?

For us, churchill was by far the best. The so called specialists were a waste of time, even with the club discount.

Pete Best for me but you might be too young I think it has to be a second car and you have to be 25+
I might be wrong so give them a ring.
I alway try to speak to Kyle he knows what he is talking about.
There is also a good one on the channel islands it might be heritage.

Speeding is like masturbation, everyone does it ,but it's not something you should record and put on the internet!!

I think 25 is correct, however I insured my mk2 VR6 as a classic and it was my only vehicle at the time.

Lancaster have come up well for me for the last 2 years. Don't know if their classic policy covers youngsters or not. Worth a call though.

Peter Best
Peter Best just quoted me more than double my renewal premium 8O
2gether insurance (01945 465508) - £120 for the year and Peter Best £267.81…
To be fair, their quote included legal and breakdown cover but even so…
I'm a 44 year old firefighter with a clean license and use of other vehicles plus I've never made a claim so I begrudge paying more than a £100
