What are they like with younger drivers? Im 18 and if the words 18 and '83 golf spring up the line goes dead and the shops shutters come crashing down as they hide behind the desk.
You will still get the discount by being a member regardless of age. Some companies are better than others for young drivers, but give FJ a call and find out what they can do for you!

They said they'd do my Mk2 on the same policy for a good price as well, when I get round to getting it back on the road.

They would only do a classic car policy for me on my 1989 Gti Cab if aged 30 or over (I'm 25)
Looks like I'll be staying with HIC again this year
Worth mentioning to any potential people

NO ONE AT ALL UNDER 25 were the words.
Is there anyone on here that works for footman james and can explain?
Also at the moment the club is advertising a benefit which is only for over 25s and could be misleading!

- Can only quote on Golfs over 20 years of age (should therefore be ok for most Mk1s)
- Can only quote on the smaller capacity engines ie not GTI's
- Premiums can be lowered by taking a limited mileage option - ie 1500 / 3000 / 4500 / 6000. ?If individuals can limit mileage to either 1500 or 3000 a year then FJ stand a good chance of being competitive.
Each request for a quote is considered on its own merits but it's certainly worth the under 25's trying FJ unless it's a GTI.
Please PM me for any issues.
