If you install a new antenna on your car, be sure that you make a drip stop loop on the coax cable. Do not make it a direct line for water migration… If you don't have a grommet, you can cut a new one in half and work it in place then a little RTV.
Or RTV that hole Duct tape it what ever…..
But the Kicker is to create a Drip stop….
Here is a new drawing of the Drip Stop Loop that you need on your
new antenna installation or your old one of it was removed and not re-installed correctly.
