Programmable window wiper timing upgrade

This mod is for your wipers timing so when you move the stalk downwards for one wipe. Move the stalk back up and when you want it to wipe again 1 second 60 seconds move the stalk down and leave it there and the 99. relay will remember what time you set between wipes and do it for you.

Ok first off you need a wiper relay from a mk3 golf or similar, relay number 99. part number 357955531.





Ok now remove your old wiper relay number 19 in fuse box position 10



Put the relay 99. in its place



Test your wipers

remember this from back in the late 80s, there was also one where you can replace the relay to do an intermittent rear wiper rather than the continuous 3-4 wipes.  Mine had it at one time I think - come to think of it, it may still have just don't use it in the wet anymore!

Came across this thread last night and thought to myself I have got one of them!.

I purchased relay 99 ages ago, not realising that I could just replace relay 19 plug with relay 99 on my relay board.

Works a treat!

I also did the lights on mod using relay 292.
