Windscreen installing

Hi guys, I've fitted the windscreen + seal to my car, went on no problem. I'm not trying to fit the chrome trim but I am having trouble, do I need a special tool? 

Or, has excitement got the better of me and I made the mistake of fitting the windscreen too early without putting the chrome trim on first?

Be sure to use plenty soapy water so you can fit the seal all the way in to the lower or upper corners….
including the chrome.

WIpe the fluid off then wait a few days and using black rtv or 3m window weld glue the edge of the seal to the "a" pillar to prevent water intrusion…
only the lip of the seal.

Its almost impossible without a tool similar to one of these

Thanks guys, I'll  make a purchase and give it a go! I'll make sure I've got a bucket of very soapy water 👍

Don't forget the trim clip covers for the ends
