Window scraper clips

Hi everyone, I'm hoping some will be able to help me. I am currently replacing my door window scraper and have noticed a few of the clips are missing. I have bought some replacement clips and I'm struggling to fit them. I assume it's easiest with the windows removed but I can get my sausage fingers in the door to fit the clips. Please help

You're not the only one!! 

I've struggled to get them to attach properly. I've tried fixing them to the doo and pushing the rubber in and also fixing them to the scraper and then to the door.

The second seems to have been the better.

What I did initially noticed was that I'd fixed the clip to the rubber too far up and it didn't clip to the door properly.

IIRC I used a long Thin Plastic Putty knife.  Place the clip on the edge fully and insert the clip.
