Vin Decode

The cab I am working on for a friend is just down as a GTi. When the owner has been doing some research he's found that states ' In the UK, however the convertible did receive a GTi trim level with the golf cabrio models….. Quartett, all white, all black, all blue, sport line and rivage.

The quartett, sportline and rivage models were sold only as GTis.



Is there a way of decoding the vin and the sticker in the boot to know what specific model this is?

The car is black, originally grey interior, clipper style body kit and originally it had twin lamp front grill.
