Mk1 Caddy 1989 1.6 petrol, original pierberg carb

Hello all,

Ive had a bit of a doozy with my Mk1 Caddy.
i have the dreaded original pierberg carb running a 1.6 petrol 1989 caddy

Ive been having issues with oil leakage from my cam cover (suspecting its slightly bent).
Whilst i was tightning down one of the nuts i slipped and managed to break off one of the vacuum hose connections on my non return valve.
i cannot for the life of me find one in stock anywhere online, its part number is VAG 171 611 933. i cannot find any non return valves that have 2 vacuum hose connections and two larger diameter connections.

Does anyone know if there is a bypass or if theres a sure way to find a replacement. the broken vacuum hose runs to the vacuum advance on my dissy.

Thank you all in advance (apologies for spelling etc i am terrible at spelling)

Well you could make your own, or add a vacuum t-connector before your existing vacuum take off easier and more cost effective.

For the broken off one, you can use epoxy or a screw and  epoxy to plug it.

If you want an original you will need to scour the breakers.

Search that part number on the web, there are a couple listed over in the states.
