Golf mk1 wiper stalk assembly

Hello guys, I'm new here and very proud to have join your amazing group.

I need some help assembling my high beam wiper stalk.

I was trying to replace the ignition switch on my mk1 cabriolet 89 and while removing the wiper stalk it became 2 pieces and things flew out.

I have managed to assemble most of it. I don't know where the white small hook goes which decides if the high beam is on or off.

Now my lights are stuck to high beam on.
Anyone knows where that white plastic goes to? [

That is probably an insulator for the highbeams.  pull the stalk and see which pieces separate, I haven't ever taken one apart, but the Circular wish bone piece looks to slip on the center pin, and placed between the two plates.

If you look at the white horse shoe it has 3 distinctive rub marks, and I would bet that if you got it apart again you would see they isolate the two plates.  The Copper plates will have shiny areas where the things are rubbing against it.
