1.6 Gti dizzy

Help needed, 
My mk1 1.6 1982 Gti has the wrong distributor fitted which is from a mk2 resulting in timing being out and pinking under load.
Can anyone provide me with the correct part number from their car so I can try and source one in the uk?

I don't know much about this, but have you checked the static timing.

What is the engine code for your vehicle

If you have got the engine running, are you sure you have set the static timing correctly. Usually having the wrong dizzy is will result in non optimum power output rather than pinking if you have the static ignition timing correct.
