MK1 Caddy ADY 2.0 8V
Recently bought an 1988 Mk1 Caddy that's been engine swapped from a 1.6D to an ADY 2.0 8V. The inline fuel pump had started failing, so it's been replaced. A day later the replacement has started to fail.
There's no lift pump and swirl pot installed, could this be causing the inline pump to fail?
Does the MK1 Caddy have a tank fuel filter? I'm wondering if the pump is drawing in debris from the tank and has knackered them.
