Hello !
I have golf mk1 cabriolet year 1991 1.8l and someone has changed dials for it, the colour is pink and i rather would want it be black or white. Also i need Km/H dials, there are no dial that ends for 240km/h and it shows like 15-20km/h wrong speed.
Any idea where i could get these new dials and is there tutorial how to change them ? I also live in finland so i cannot visit UK at the moment.
Cheers for your answers !

There were dial faces avail on EBAY a year or so, and if you google VW MK1 rabbit gauge face, you can get templates.
There are a few how do I do that's on the web, try www.cabby-info.com.
If the Faces aren't correct that can account for the speed differences, so can tires.
Also once you take the face off, resetting the needle is the usual culprit for the change in rate.
IIRC you have to set the needle to the right of the stop, then move it up over the stop.
Some of the face plates I have seen are actually printed templates that are glued or taped over the existing face plate, so it may be that the original is under the pink one, the only way to be sure is to remove the cluster and dissassemble it.
