Witch loom
Well here goes guys iv got a 1981 1.6 cab that iv just started a 1.8t swap on, iv bought a complete auq conversion that was already fitted to a mk1, the only thing missing is the full engine loom and ecu, so my question is would I need a auq loom or would any other 1.8t loom work as finding it hard to find a complete auq loom, iv already found a auq ecu so just the loom issue left, any advice would be great
Just throw a spanner in the works the engine has a cable throttle body so am I rite in thinking I need a agu loom to make this engine work

I have nothing to add to this yet. I was planning a 1.8T swap fro one of mine at some point in the future so curious to know what other modifications needs done besides the loom? Engine mounts, gearbox, etc.
I Would like to know how you get on with this for future purposes.

Any updates on this. Looking at same engine for mine. Can you get a engine loom for this engine code and MK1 install off shelf?
