Mk 1 golf clipper hydro clutch kit

Hi all. Mk1 golf clipper. The off the shelf hydraulic clutch kits. Can you use existing gearbox or need newer style gearbox ie one with a hydraulic clutch set up already installed. Any advice from those already installed. Thanks

They work with 02A and 02J gearboxes atleast. Prob with 02M also ?
But not with 020 what mk1's usually comes with.

Thanks that means need to source a box to mate with the 1.8 8v carb engine thanks

Think youll probably need the flywheel / clutch assy as well
