Mk1 Golf dashboard help

Trying to get a dash for a 77 golf but was wondering if one from 78-83 will fit

Short answer is yes.

I believe there are some bracket differences so some fabrication may be required.

If you get a later dash try and get all the fixing structures you'll need.
