Unknown Wire Behind Dash

Hi all, I have a 1989 1.8 carb cabriolet that has this yellow/white wire behind the dash that appears to have been cut. It runs to a connecter near the instrument cluster connector but doesn't look like its from there. Can anyone tell me what it might be for?
