Unconnected cables

Good afternoon everyone,
Today I was putting back in my dash and there was a cable that was fixed to the back of the actual dash and I am unsure of where it plugs into does anyone have any idea? It was a 4 pin connector |I |I something abit like that, one side connected into a cable coming from the door but the other end I couldn't find where it goes

A photo of the connector would be good for us to see, as the only one I can recall that has about 4 pins is the one for the parking brake/warning and belt light.  I actually think it is 6 pins with only 4 being used….

I'll nip down and take a photo now give me 2 minutes thanks

I've noticed another one that's in a bundle of cables closest to the windscreen which is unconnected and it's the same connector

Ya got me quizzled, as I have never seen that style of connector on any "Rabbit/Golf/Cabriolet" that I have owned over on this side of the pond….

Would you say it's nothing to worry about then ?

its a speaker connector for a blaupunkt stereo

Ah right happy days the last owner had cut all radio cables, nothing major then thanks a lot
