What do I fit to P slot wheels
After getting my Golf running after 5 years, the original Pirelli P6 tyres, which were new, have split/cracked and need replacing. Any suggestions what to fit with the P slot wheels. I trying to keep it as original as possible. thanks

mmm Pirelli p6 sounds right, or their superseded version.
What do Divorces, Great Coffee, and Car Electrics all have in common?
They all start with GOOD Grounds.

No much choice these days in 14" good rating https://www.mytyres.co.uk/cgi-bin/rshop.pl?dsco=110&cart_id=71511897.110.90301&sowigan=So&Breite=185&Quer=60&Felge=14&Speed=&Load=&kategorie=6&Marke=Pirelli&ranzahl=4&tyre_for=&x_tyre_for=&Herst=Pirelli&m_s=3&rsmFahrzeugart=ALL&filter_preis_bis=&filter_preis_von=&homologation=&search_tool=standard&Label=C-B-69-2&details=Ordern&typ=R-228576
p6 has a poor rating, i think this tyre is old tech https://www.mytyres.co.uk/cgi-bin/rshop.pl?dsco=110&cart_id=71511897.110.90301&sowigan=So&Breite=185&Quer=60&Felge=14&Speed=&Load=&kategorie=6&Marke=Pirelli&ranzahl=4&tyre_for=&x_tyre_for=&Herst=Pirelli&m_s=3&sort_by=Lable_1roll&rsmFahrzeugart=ALL&filter_preis_bis=&filter_preis_von=&homologation=&search_tool=standard&Label=F-E-71-3&details=Ordern&typ=D-104782

Thanks for the help.
Looks like the choice is;
Avon ZT5,
Dunlop Spt Blu response,
Yoko blu earth,
Bridgestone Er 300,
Continental Prem Contact 5,
Continental Eco contact,
Hankook,
Pirelli P1 Verde.
I like the look of the Dunlop, however, will it look right with P slot wheels and the Pirelli caps?? I'm not bothered about the extra miles these blu tyres get?

if i wanted to save a couple of quid while still getting great tyres I would choose these https://www.mytyres.co.uk/cgi-bin/rshop.pl?dsco=110&cart_id=93805976.110.48918&sowigan=So&Breite=185&Quer=60&Felge=14&Speed=&Load=&kategorie=6&Marke=Toyo&ranzahl=4&tyre_for=PKW&x_tyre_for=&Herst=Toyo&m_s=3&Ang_pro_Seite=10&sort_by=preis&rsmFahrzeugart=PKW&filter_preis_bis=&filter_preis_von=&homologation=&search_tool=standard&Label=C-B-70-2&details=Ordern&typ=R-273327
Otherwise I would pick between the conti eco 5 or the pirelli P1 verde, and having P slot wheels personally I would go for the Pirellis

the p6000 was an old design, which was discontinued several years ago, I think the p7 replaced it.

Nice tyre P7, don't think they do it in 185, cant find it, guess it will have to be the P1.
