Top padding

So excited that I'm almost done with the padding. Next will be the top roof

Hello again. Before I start working with the top. I have to work a little with the rear window. When I dismantled the old top, I found the original window frame was corroded and rusty. I decided to buy a new one. It came from UK. However it comes in two parts; the metal frame and the internal plastic insert. The problem started with the insert not fitting well inside the metal frame. I had to heat it to make it to fit and then I had to glue it. The insert is thicker that the original. I might need to sand paper or use the hand rotating machine to get the internal dimension needed. I think this part should cone already coupled. I imagine that's part of the issues getting parts for the old car. I'll let you know how it goes…
