Looking for local resto companies to Bath/Briatol
Hi all.
After owning my old tin top (forever) and taking the interior out to locate a 'water leak' over the winter. I'm sad to say the old girl is beyond my welding capabilities.
Can anyone recommend any companies local to Bath/Bristol area who would be able to do a partial or full resto on her? When I say partial she needs - inner/outer seals, windscreen surround/A pillar, front lower panel, some other general rot ;0).
She does need full brake and fuel line replacement, but I'm happy to do mechanical work on her, but she is almost getting to the point of stripping and dipping - but I don't have the spare £20k+ for this and I've never wanted a show car as she lives outside and is a driver (although not for the last 8 years!!).
I've had her since the mid 90's and my first real car (1.6 GTI black 5 speed - all the stuff I wanted) so have an irrational passion for her.
Anyway thanks for listening to me ramble on and any help is appreciated.
