Swallowtail/Series 1 lock mech damaged

The plastic lever that attaches the internal pull rod the the mechanism has snapped. Does anyone know where I can get a replacement? Also, how are they removed from the mechanism?

Is that the Rear Deck latch?  

I don't know if a Cabriolet one wold work.  I have had it out, but can't remember and didn't take a photo of it.

The internals was NLA @ 96  I suspect that with the part number on the latch assembly, you may be able to get one from a Breakers, the classifieds at thesamba.com as well as vwvortex.com

It's early front door latch.
