I'm having a problem with my 1983 mk1 golf gti 1800
I've changed
Starter motor
Fuel pump
Fuel filter
Spark plugs
Rotor arm
Leads
Accumulator
Etc.
It still not able to start it . The car turns over
I have spark
Compression is fine
I've bypassed the pump relay and done the lift test and the injectors work but with the relay still bypassed there is no fuel spray out of the injectors when I turn the key ?
I'm thinking it may be the ignition switch?
Any help would be appreciated

With both of those conditions met, repeated sparks turning over and fuel spraying on lift test, then the next test is to leave a screwdriver in the lift plate so there is a couple of millimeter gap, then try and start & it should run at 1000 RPM.
The KJET system has numerous components that could cause it not to start, there's a recent post here with some links:

83 GTI 1800 KJET, that's the best one to have.

The Dimple on the back side of the cam gear should be even to the top of the Valve cover tie
The rotor should be in the middle of the hash mark stamped in the side frame.
That should be the nummber one plug wire and the remaining in clock wise position 3-4-2
