Spacer size for mk1 golf clipper 14 inch castelette alloy fitment

As about any ideas on ideal spacer size for clipper 14 " castelette fitment. Previous owner had 20 mm on a mk1 cab small arches. I'm moving from a staggered setup to something a little more oem but don't want the wheels to look lost in the arches. Any advice?

I would take a steel rule to the edge of the wheel and wheel arch and work out what size you want from that, with the current spacers removed and wheels bolted on.

That sounds sensible, thanks Jazzydog. Guess I'm just impatient! Will get them on and see what I would be happy with but if anyone else has any views or photos that would be great to see.
