Renew rear panel costs

Hi all anyone have a approximate!!  cost to have a new rear panel Fitted Mk1 golf gti ( tin top) ? Also good fabricator in West Midlands ? Thanks 

Might find one on vwheritage.com. They have all sorts of repair panels and more.

Panel work to replace the rear panel is about 8 - 10 hour job.
Paint work depends on the colour & other paintwork required, but just the rear panel I would estimate 10 hours if there are no other complications. With the rear panel being replaced it does affect the rear quarters, so the paint will need to be blended into both quarters.

So approximately 18 hours labour plus the cost of the panel and the Cost of the paint & materials…. Expect a minimum £40/£50 per hour for labour at a bodyshop.
