Hello , need a little help I want to put on a standard exhaust manifold but at the moment it has a Ashley I see its quite close to the driveshaft so is there anyway I can clear this or would it mean removal of drive shaft and other bits and pieces all help appreciated thanks

What engine you got fitted
I know you can get it in and out with 2,0 16valve
As I just put mine back on this week
There bit tight be can manage

I'm running a standard 1.6 GTI, just seen your post about the manifold against the steering rack, mine is kinda the same, how did you manage to remove it ?

Got car about 1 foot off ground one side on axle stands dropped out kind no problem just had turn it a round to get round the shaft
But goes in and out with out a problem
Standard 16valve front pipe was lot worse get out as was tight on anti roll bar

Only thing what works is heat
I snapped 1 of the 8 in the head
