Rear window has leek were water sits at bottom but window rubber is soft and think I be able push window out no problem as water comes threw were rubber to glass is ?

My Cabrio has similar rear window rubber and I too thought it was for a chrome strip but never seen a Cabrio with chrome rear trim?

That's normal and how the rubber is meant to be.
I expect the leak is from the window not being sealed properly, there is meant to be a thin line of window sealer underneath the rubber along the glass.
You an get the black window sealer in a tube and gun it underneath the seal along the bottom and slightly up the sides.
Worked for me when my window was leaking as my car sits on the drive on a slight angle and the water sits along the seal and back window.
