Isn’t there a standard multi plug these days, a Euro or DIN thing that I can repair the wiring with?

You need to work back from your radio, if a really early MK1 from mid/late 70s radio it will have separate DIN speaker and power connectors. From 80s to late 90s the twin ISO connector as in the link I posted. Later could be different again.jazzydog said
