Porsche 16in alloys

Think of getting a set of 16in Porsche D90 alloys of similar for my gti cabrio. Can anyone give advice on hub adaptor thickness size / tyre size / spacers / and problems I might get?I've lowered mine 40mm on Eibach springs and have no problems on the standard 15in.

Hub adapter size will depend on what width and offset d90's you're looking at, 6,7 or 8's?

I'm pretty sure they're all up in the low 50's with offset tho. 

I'd be searching for 6's as I like tuck… How do you want them to sit? What are the widths and offsets of your current wheels?

Hi, I've got a gti Rivage with the standard wheels which are 15in. Not really sure on the tyre look but just want it to be hassle free!!

Does look nice that red car.. im currently on 15s on bbs ras. And have some porsche teledials that I bought for mk2 but have adaptors to fit to mk1 so may try.  I find that because I'm old..(42) and drive like miss daisy that without power steering you need forearms like Popeye to drive at carpark speeds, and no longer look cool when taking 10mins to park in a ickle small cabby.

Lol. Could always befriend someone in wheel shop and just try them all.

You are old!! I'm only 41 😆. Might even get my Rivage wheels refurbed if nothing comes up.

Hi I've got some D90's with 25mm adapters, the wheels  are black gloss and all have very good 195/40/16 toyo tyres if you're interested

What's the paint job like on them and are they genuine Porsche wheels.

Paints pretty good few stone chips on some edges but they're solid black so can be touched in flatted and polished in to make them like new again, and yep they're real Porsche wheels I restore Porsches for a living. The centres aren't genuine but they were just what I wanted and didn't cost much so a no brainier. Hope this helps.
