Clips broken on mine!

A couple of the clips that hold the oil pump baffle to the pick up pipe are broken so it looks like I need a new one. The only ones I can find are with an aftermarket pump. What does the baffle do and are the aftermarket pumps any good? Also, is there a gasket between the oil pump and the block as I can't find one anywhere (not removed my pump yet)?
Tia.

I've been using a Febi oil pump for a few years with no problems, that came with a new baffle.
The baffle is there to stop the oil moving past the oil pump pick up to fast and starving the oil pump if you corner fast.

Can't remember needed to buy an other gaskets when fitting a new oil pump, just the sump pan gasket.

Don't forget to prime the oil pump before fitting or before starting the car.
