MK1 needs small sill repair - Midlands

Hi guys.

Following an incident with a brick I have damaged the rear section of a sill where it joins the rear arch and inner sill, its made a crunchy hole which needs to be cut out. I have a complete sill from VW Heritage but only a small section of this needs to be used as the car is extremely solid. With the MOT FAST APPROACHING(!) I'm looking for a reliable garage or individual who can make a tidy repair to an otherwise solid, never welded car.

I'm in Coventry but Midlands wide recommendations welcome.

…paint wise I need it rustproofing, possibly stone chip coated on the lower edge and painted in a good base coat of black.

Here's a pic of the offending dented section and hole, obviously the inner sill is going to need a little fresh metal too. Like I said, I have a full sill that can be butchered to make the repairs…

looks like you have done yourself a favor, i'm guessing it was a little crusty and now you can fix it before you had a massive hole!
